Vintage Bakelite 50’s Atomic Ivory Wall Lights With Orange Fibreglass Shades MCM
This beautiful pair of mid century orange & light cream wall lights will make a statement in any room of your home. The character and vintage MCM styling of these lamps shines through. Imagine the places they have been and the stories they could tell. They would look equally fabulous in a retro styled lounge or as bedside wall lights or in an entrance hall either side of a mirror or over console table. Dating from the 1950’s this rare pair of Bakelite wall mounted lights are in excellent condition. They have been dismantled & cleaned before being rewired with new small edison screw bulb holders. They have been mounted on a wooden back plate and the original pull cord switches reused with new cord. The lights have been finished with a matching pair of orange spun fibreglass shades from the same period and are in excellent condition. Hanging key hole brackets are fitted on the rear for easy hanging. These have approximately 2m of cable fitted with plugs making them ideal for bedside lamps or alternatively could be hard wired to an existing wall supply. This can be supplied with a UK, EU or US plug.
