Vintage Mid-Century Retro Atomic Style Rocket Lamp Teak & Purple Fibreglass
Vintage/Retro Style Rocket Lamp. A beautiful retro rocket lamp, iconic design piece sitting on 3 teak legs with a long spun fibreglass shade in purple. Very rare colour as most of the earlier models were in yellow/orange. It’s thought that this one is a later piece, believed to be found in an unsold batch of old shop stock but they hadn’t yet been built so they have now been fitted with brand new light fittings & bulbs ready for sale. At the time of listing we also have another one available in pink see last photo – this listing is for the purple lamp ONLY! Measures 117cm tall x 22cm Wide. Brand new fittings and bulbs ready for use, the odd tiny imperfection on the fibreglass up close as shown but overall it looks amazing when lit up! Courier is a one man service and may require assistance to unload, (2 person available at request but price and timeframe will increase). Original Retro Atomic Floor Lamp. Highly collectable spun fibreglass rocket inspired floor lamp. Orange amber cylinder shade with 3 teak tripod legs. Designed to house 2 lights. Circa: 1950’s / 60’s. Height: 110cm x W 21cm. A fabulous lamp for a retro styled interior. In good overall condition. Some minor marks as to be expected and it would appear that the lower parts of the legs have been touched in with a matching wood stain. Please see all photos! The wiring is original and not PAT tested. Please note that it will possibly need rewiring as although it does work it’s a little temperamental. Atomic Mid century Rocket Lamp Spun Fibreglass 60s/70s Retro Vintage. In working order, only had one bulb in picture but tested both lampholder. In good original condition. 3 of the wooden dowels that connect the legs to the shade have been replaced with small black washers, hardly noticeable. The top 3 dowels have been replaced with washers. The bottom 3 are original wood. Shade bit dirty due to age, not sure how to clean. 110cm high, approx 30cm wide at base, approx 15.5cm diameter of shade. Vintage Sputnik Atomic retro mid century Lamp With Fibreglass Shade
This MCM atomic lamp is a very stylish retro light that will complement any vintage 60s decor. This gorgeous red lamp with its ivory beige spun fibreglass shade has tons of charm and would look gorgeous as a bedside light in a vintage setting, or in a lounge with a more modern contemporary look as an eye catching statement piece. This vintage atomic style red lamp probably dates from the late 1960 s and when found was still in very good condition and still had its original single core cables. There were some chips to the original paint which have been blended out using an extra fine polishing paste so to as retain its originality and the wire legs sympathetically cleaned. An original old new stock switched b22 bulb holder from the same period has been fitted and new 2 core cable. The lamp has been fitted with an original period spun fibreglass shade which is in very good undamaged condition. Fully tested for electrical safety this will come fitted with the correct plug for your country. 7 dia base x 21 high overall. 18cm dia base x 51cm high overall. Shade is 15cm (6) dia x 25cm (10)high. Our lamps are safety checked and Pat Tested by a C&G qualified technician. Rare Vintage Retro Mid Century Spun Fibreglass Floor Rocket Lamp Atomic MCM
Very Unique Rare Vintage Retro Mid Century Spun Fibreglass Floor Geometric/Abstract Atomic Sputnik Rocket Lamp. I have not been able to find another to compare to. Genuine 1960s Rocket Lamp on 4 black metal original legs, cupped with metal gold lip top and bottom. Definitely a nice statement peice for any Vintage home. Would look stunning in the dark with the warm glow. Condition – Condition is used. Some age related wear to be expected for general use over the years. Lamp is 60+ years old. Fiberglass has some fading in places not perfectly round. But it’s a Genuine period lamp. Modern cable and plug has been fitted with original bulb fitting. Bulb does not come with the lamp.
